May 8, 2025 — We’re proud to share more news this week of a rare and meaningful transaction on Red Mountain. The former Hamilton Cellars estate — a stunning 10.5-acre property with a modern Net Zero winery, tasting room, private residence, and over 8 acres of vineyard — has officially been sold to Seattle-based Leschi Lakeside Property Management. This one-of-a-kind site in the heart of the AVA represents a significant milestone for the region, with its blend of agricultural, residential, and hospitality potential.

This sale is more than just a transfer of land; it’s a tribute to the legacy of Russ and Stacie Hamilton. Their vision, passion, and commitment to sustainability shaped the estate into what it is today. In their memory, the Hamilton family has chosen to direct proceeds from the remaining wine inventory to a cause close to their hearts — the Stacie & Russ Hamilton Foundation, funding scholarships and grants at WSU Tri-Cities in viticulture, business, and healthcare.

Leschi Lakeside does not plan to operate a wine brand and is currently seeking a tenant to lease the winery and tasting room. In partnership with Metis affiliate, Birch Creek Advisors, we’re honored to have played a part in this meaningful transition, and look forward to seeing what the next chapter brings for this remarkable Red Mountain estate.
