Iconic Family-Owned Napa Estate Winery Hires DTC and Hospitality Professional
(Napa, Calif.)— April 21, 2025—Trefethen Family Vineyards, one of Napa’s pioneering family-owned estate wineries, today announced that Sarah Congress, an experienced leader in direct-to-consumer wine sales and marketing, has joined the winery as Director of Consumer Sales and Hospitality.
Most recently, Sarah was the Director of Consumer Sales and Marketing at Sequoia Grove Winery, overseeing all DTC channels, including tasting room, wine club, e-commerce, and events. Her 14 years in the wine industry also include sales and hospitality management roles in Sonoma, Walla Walla, and South Australia. Prior to entering the wine industry, she worked as a chef, culinary instructor, and editor. She has an MA in English and Writing from the University of Nevada, Reno, a BA in Creative Writing, Italian, and Theater from the University of Southern California, and an AOS in Culinary Arts from the California Culinary Academy. Sarah lives in Napa and in her downtime, she enjoys gardening and swimming.
