Campania’s Wine Showcases Its Excellence at Vinitaly with International Masterclasses, Initiatives and Tastings

“Where History Meets the Future”: Campania Region’s Pavilion gets a modern makeover, arriving in Verona with a new identity 5,800 square meters, around 180 participating companies and a 500+ square meter Piazza Campania

April 7, 2025 (Verona, Italy) — “Where History Meets the Future”: the Campania Region takes center stage at the 57th edition of Vinitaly, scheduled to take place in Verona from April 6 to 9, with a collective presence of around 180 companies.

The Campania Pavilion B at Vinitaly will cover 5,800 square meters and is organized by the Campania Regional Departments of Agriculture and Economic Development, in collaboration with Unioncamere Campania. The Piazza Campania area will span about 500 square meters, featuring a spacious event room and a tasting area highlighting the region’s seven Wine Protection Consortia.

The pavilion will sport an innovative look that speaks the language of younger generations, with a fresh, bold, and pop identity.

“Vinitaly is a key event for Campania’s wine sector,” stated Nicola Caputo, Campania Region’s Minister of Agriculture. “It is a strategic space for visibility and engagement, allowing us to showcase the quality and identity of our regional wine heritage. Our companies take part as leading players, backed by unique biodiversity and a deep-rooted connection to the land. A special thanks goes to President Vincenzo De Luca, who has provided clear strategic direction and ongoing support in enhancing regional agri-food excellence. The program for this 57th edition features tastings and masterclasses led by experts from the main Italian and international wine guides. Together with the Protection Consortia, we will highlight denominations from all provinces, promoting the work of our enterprises and encouraging dialogue with the specialized wine press. Also returning is the ‘Ambassadors of Campania Wines’ award, now in its third edition, which for the first time will involve pizzerias. After awarding the best wine lists in starred and gourmet restaurants, we are extending the recognition to those who promote two of Campania’s key excellences — wine and pizza — beyond our region. Lastly, the new Campania Pavilion, the result of a shared development process, moves beyond the previous Pompeii-inspired concept and embraces a more daring and pop visual narrative. The renewed graphic identity is designed to engage new generations and boldly convey the dynamic spirit of Campania wine.”

“The participation of the Campania Region at Vinitaly is the result of a targeted process,” said Antonio Marchiello, Campania Region’s Minister for Economic Development, “based on the selection of companies through a specific call, developed in full alignment and collaboration with the regional chamber system. The goal is to offer tangible support to wine businesses, enhancing their ability to compete in national and international markets by facilitating direct engagement with qualified industry operators. Investing in strategic events like Vinitaly is crucial to truly supporting the region’s economic growth and promoting Campania’s heritage of quality, innovation, and sustainability abroad.”
