Shelbi Wilson Named General Manager for LOPAI Cellars in Paso Robles

March 31, 2025 (Paso Robles, CA) – Shelbi Wilson has been named General Manager for LOPAI Cellars in Paso Robles. Located in the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles, along California’s Central Coast, LOPAI Cellars is ideally situated just off the Hwy. 46 West Corridor of Paso Robles at the gateway to Paso wine country. Among Wilson’s responsibilities will be the ushering in of the new LOPAI Cellars tasting room, set to open in late April. The new tasting room and winery location will be on the iconic Live Oak Drive, home of the coveted L ‘Aventure and Austin Hope wines. 

Born and raised in Paso Robles, Wilson worked in the local wine industry for nearly twenty years. Previously, she was General Manager for The Paso Robles Wine Merchant. Prior to that, Wilson held several positions, including Wine Buyer at The Pony Club, at Hotel Cheval; Wine Club Manager at Jada Vineyard and Winery;  Operations Manager at Brochelle Vineyards; Tasting Room Manager at Halter Ranch and the Hospitality Manager at Niner Wine Estates.

The LOPAI Cellars collection of wines features an estate Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated blend that includes a small percentage of Petite Sirah and Petite Verdot; a proprietary blend called Heliotrope, made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre and Cabernet Franc, designated from the Denner Vineyard; a Semillon from Santa Barbara County’s Happy Canyon appellation and two vineyard designated Syrahs from Paso Robles complete the portfolio.

The LOPAI collection is produced entirely from Central Coast fruit, including designates in the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles and the Happy Canyon AVA of Santa Barbara County,  allowing winemaker Paul Lopez, and son, Brian Lopez, to source from coveted sites throughout the Central Coast.
