March 18, 2025 (Pleasanton, CA) — The annual Alameda County Fair Wine Competitions are now accepting entries for all Competitions, including Alameda County, Best of the Blends, Zin Challenge and Sauvignon Summit. Following a record-breaking number of submissions and winners from last year, the 2025 Wine Competition showcases the rich wine culture highlighting the Tri-Valley and beyond.

Competitors must register and enter the competition through EnofileOnline, links below per Competition. Each Competition has varying submission guidelines.

Winners will be displayed during the 2025 Alameda County Fair, on the Fair’s website, via email newsletters and social media. Gold Medal wines will be sold by the glass in the Wine Garden to Fair guests.
What sets Alameda County Fair’s Wine Competitions apart from others is that there are NO ENTRY FEES for all Competitions, giving an incentivizing advantage to competitors who might be used to the typical, large entry fees of other wine competitions.

The Alameda County Fairgrounds and Event Center is open all year, hosting over 250 events a year, as well as producing the annual summer Alameda County Fair. The 267-acre property in Pleasanton, California includes space for any kind of indoor or outdoor event, including concerts, weddings, corporate events, competitions, full ground festivals, celebrations, and more.
