Proceeds from “Arborum Adventures: Get Out, Give Back” Wine Experiences Will be Donated to Organizations Providing Social Services for Napa Farmworkers and Environmental Conservation Causes

St Helena, CA, March 12, 2025 – This spring, Arborum, a new Napa winery that donates 100% of net earnings to charitable causes, will debut “Arborum Adventures: Get Out, Give Back”: one-of-a-kind wellness experiences — like kayaking in the Tomales Bay, hiking through Muir Woods and vineyard-view yoga — that benefit impactful charitable organizations.
Last fall, Nick and Caren Orum debuted their first wines for Arborum, simultaneously pledging $1 million to organizations supporting social services for Napa Valley vineyard workers and their families and environmental conservation causes. Going forward, 100% of the net earnings from sales of Arborum wines, crafted by esteemed winemaker Andy Erickson, will support these causes. Now, the Orums are furthering their charitable commitments with “Arborum Adventures: Get Out, Give Back.” The proceeds for these unique wine excursions will go directly to charitable causes the Arborum supports.
“Arborum Adventures: Get Out, Give Back” experiences ($750 per person, minimum of four people) were inspired by the Orums’ passion for nature, adventure, and wellness. Nick Orum is an avid cyclist, while Caren Orum is a trail runner and yogi. Set among three of the Bay Area’s most beautiful, natural backdrops, these offerings inspire wine lovers to move beyond the traditional tasting room and can be customized to the group’s fitness level and goals.
A private guided kayaking tour of Tomales Bay, followed by lunch at coastal icon Nick’s Cove paired with Arborum wines, supports the Point Reyes National Seashore Association. In Mill Valley, a hike through the famed Muir Woods, led by a naturalist from Save the Redwoods — this experience’s beneficiary — concludes with a leisurely lunch and Arborum wines on the deck of the Orums’ 1891 historic home in Mill Valley. In Napa Valley, where the Orums have been residents since 1999, guests can choose their adventure: vineyard-view yoga with Caren Orum or a wine country cycling tour with Nick Orum. Both include lunch and wine pairings and support the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation.
“Arborum Adventures: Get Out, Give Back” experiences will be available from April through November, weather permitting. For more information or to book one of these new experiences, please contact Arborum at wine@arborum.com or 707.307.5698.
ABOUT ARBORUM
Founded by Caren and Nick Orum, who purchased the property in 2013, winemaker Andy Erickson crafts three wines for Arborum. For the Proprietary Red, Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Hidden Key, Arborum’s certified organic estate vineyard, located just north of St. Helena on the east-facing slopes of Spring Mountain in the Mayacamas Range, with a small amount of Cabernet Franc blended from Pritchard Hill. The Proprietary White is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Musqué, and Semillon from Coombsville, and an estate Cabernet Sauvignon will join the portfolio with the 2023 vintage. The 20-acre Arborum Estate features a CCOF-certified organic vineyard, olive orchard, and 1930s-era hunting lodge that is now the Orum home amidst a forest of 100-foot-tall conifers. The Orums dedicate all net earnings from Arborum to worthwhile causes with each wine release, and they committed $1 million to local and environmental causes for their inaugural 2024 Fall launch.
