One of the world’s highest-altitude wine festivals returns to the Rocky Mountains August 21-23
March 11, 2025 (Breckenridge, CO) — The Breckenridge Wine Classic is back for its 11th year, bringing an unforgettable mix of high-altitude adventure, curated culinary experiences, and world-class wines to the Rocky Mountains from August 21-23, 2025. This renowned festival invites guests to explore scenic hikes paired with sommelier-selected lunches, indulge in immersive food-and-beverage experiences alongside beloved Colorado personalities, and savor an unparalleled Grand Tasting at 9,600 feet.

Tickets for the Breckenridge Wine Classic – one of the world’s highest-altitude wine festivals – are on sale now.
“Every year, thousands of people make the journey to Breckenridge Wine Classic to experience this one-of-a-kind summer destination. It’s much more price approachable than other top Western wine festivals, and we plan to continue that to make it accessible to wider swaths of people,” said Kristen Slater, Breckenridge Wine Classic event director.
Produced by Colorado-based Team Player Productions, the three-day festival is centered around its signature two-day Grand Tastings. Wine novices and experts can enjoy exclusive seminars, interactive activations, and gourmet wine lunches and dinners crafted by top sommeliers, while more than 75 wineries, breweries, distilleries, and culinary artisans converge in Breckenridge for this ultimate food and wine experience.
“We’ve built an experience that fits a number of lifestyles. Want to get your heart racing? We have outdoor activities. Don’t LOVE wine? We have dozens of other beverage purveyors. It’s too expensive? There are a number of ticket options,” said Slater. “At the end of the day, we want everyone to make the journey at least once to this can’t-miss event.”
The 2025 Breckenridge Wine Classic includes:
- The Grand Tasting, Friday, Aug. 22 and Saturday, Aug. 23: The Classic’s Grand Tasting features an impressive selection of hundreds of domestic and international wines, premium craft beer and spirits, alongside live music and endless small bites.
