Connoisseur Series at Wynn Las Vegas to Include a Highly Coveted Masseto Wine Dinner on May 2

March 10, 2025 (Las Vegas, NV) — As part of its ongoing Connoisseur Series, Wynn Las Vegas will host a one-night-only dinner featuring Masseto – one of the world’s most prestigious wine estates. The event will take place at Italian fine-dining restaurant, Sinatra, on Friday, May 2.

Masseto is produced on the coast of Tuscany’s Tyrrhenian Sea, atop hillsides known for their distinctive blue clay soil. The sea and soil are an integral part of every Masseto vintage, which is owned and operated by the legendary Frescobaldi family. Taking ownership of Masseto in 2005, the family has spent 700 years combining tradition, experience, and creativity to create superior wine. Producing just 30,000 bottles each year, Masseto has a cult following that emerged with the debut of its first vintage in 1987.

“The Connoisseur Series provides unparalleled access to some of the world’s most iconic wineries,” said Brian Weitzman, Executive Director of Wine for Wynn Las Vegas. “Coming from the land of Super Tuscans in Bolgheri, Masseto is an absolute standout and uniquely focused on Merlot based wines. This event will showcase several vintages from Masseto’s library cellar – including their 2006 vintage – all poured from a magnum large format.”

Sinatra will be transformed into a Tuscan vineyard for the evening, during which guests will experience three vintages of Masseto and two vintages of Massetino, the estate’s second wine, dating as early as 2006. The night will begin with a Champagne Bollinger reception, followed by a multi-course menu from Sinatra Executive Chef Theo Shoenegger. Offering additional insight into the estate, Masseto’s Technical Director Marco Balsimelli will lead guests through the wines.

Tickets for the Masseto wine dinner are on sale now for $2,500 per guest, not including tax and gratuity. For more information visit www.wynnlasvegas.com/experiences/master-classes/masseto-wines-connoisseur-series.
