Sokol Blosser Teams with 2025 Rose Festival as Exclusive Wine Partner

2025 Marks 40-Year Anniversary of Sokol Blosser’s First Partnership with Rose Festival

Dundee Hills, OR (February 20, 2025) – Sokol Blosser Winery, a family-owned legacy winery in Willamette Valley, is proud to announce that it will be the official wine of Portland’s renowned Rose Festival. Sokol Blosser and Evolution wines will be the exclusive wines poured at the Rose Festival’s popular 10-day City Fair at Tom McCall Waterfront Park that runs May 23-June 8.

“This is an exciting and meaningful partnership for us,” says Sokol Blosser EO Alex Sokol Blosser. “The Portland Rose Festival is a legendary part of the Portland community and we’re honored to share our wines with festival attendees across all of the City Fair events. It’s timely, too, because 2025 is the 40th anniversary of our first partnership with the Rose Festival in 1985.”

As part of the partnership, Sokol Blosser is launching a special edition of its 2024 Estate Rosé pinot Noir, featuring a historic label that pays tribute to the winery’s first partnership with the Rose Festival 40 years ago. Commemorative bottles of the 2024 Rose Festival Estate Rosé will be available for sale for $35 at the winery and online while supplies last starting in May.

Additionally, Sokol Blosser wine club members will be treated to complimentary admissions to the City Fair.

“Our partnership with Sokol Blosser is a meaningful collaboration that celebrates two Oregon icons,” says Marilyn Clint, CEO of the Portland Rose Festival. “Sokol Blosser first partnered with the Rose Festival 40 years ago, and we’re excited to join forces again in 2025. This partnership enhances the festival experience, bringing together great wine and a beloved Portland institution.”
