On 10 February, the international wine guide Star Wine List will award Gold Stars to the best wine lists of France for the second time, with an awards ceremony held at Wine Paris. The expert jury has now decided the finalists
January 21, 2025 – Star Wine List of the Year is a celebration of the great wine lists across the world and the teams behind them. In France, prizes are awarded in 10 categories, with the winners in the international ones automatically qualifying for the Star Wine List of the Year International Final in June 2025, once all regional competitions have been completed.
The jury, including top sommeliers Kathrine Larsen-Robert MS and Pascaline Lepeltier, has now finished deliberating and the finalists have been selected.
“We are very excited to see many more top restaurants and wine bars in France enter this year. The finalists are truly excellent and we can’t wait to celebrate with the sommelier teams at Wine Paris,” says Krister Bengtsson, Founder and Publisher of Star Wine List.
The awards will be handed out at Wine Paris on 10 February; the ceremony is by invitation only.

The jury for the Star Wine List of the Year France 2025 includes four international wine experts:
- Kathrine Larsen-Robert – Master Sommelier
- Nina Jensen – Second-Best Sommelier of the World 2019, 2023 (ASI)
- Pascaline Lepeltier – Best Sommelier of France 2018
- Jérôme Gagnez – wine writer and radio presenter
