Annual E-Auction Funds Healthcare Services for Vineyard Stewards and Their Families
Hillsboro, Ore. (July 9, 2024) — ¡Salud!, an Oregon program delivering healthcare and outreach services directly to vineyard stewards and their families, presents Summertime ¡Salud! The E-Auction from July 16 to 18. The annual e-auction offers wine enthusiasts a rare opportunity to acquire exceptional Pinot Noir cuvées from top Willamette Valley wineries. ¡Salud! is a project of the Hillsboro Medical Center, a community non-profit hospital part of the OHSU Health system. Founded in 1991 by a group of winery owners and healthcare physicians, the program helps more than 2,500 vineyard stewards and their families every year. Funds raised through the July E-Auction and the November Oregon Pinot Noir Auction support the important work of the ¡Salud! During the three-day e-auction, bids can be placed online from anywhere across the country on one-of-a-kind wines from 36 of the Willamette Valley’s finest wine producers, which make up this year’s Vintners Circle.

One case of each vintner’s ¡Salud! Cuvée is available during July’s Summertime ¡Salud! The E-Auction. This is a singular opportunity for collectors and wine lovers to obtain these exclusive wines, only available through ¡Salud!. Opening bids for 12-bottle cases are set at $1,200.

ABOUT ¡SALUD!
¡Salud! is an Oregon project of Hillsboro Medical Center, a community non-profit hospital part of the OHSU Health system, working to address the healthcare hurdles faced by vineyard stewards and their families. The program serves approximately 2,500 patients each year, providing comprehensive health services through mobile clinics, which operate in vineyards and wineries throughout the growing season. ¡Salud! also provides important case management and advocacy for families as they navigate the healthcare system. Each November, ¡Salud! The Oregon Pinot Noir Auction is held in support of these services, featuring some of Oregon’s finest Pinot Noir. Now in its seventh year, the Summertime ¡Salud! E-Auction in July gives bidders from across the country early access to these special wines.
