New Club Created in Response to Growing Demand for White Wines
Dundee Hills, Ore. – April 23, 2024 – Sokol Blosser Winery, a pioneering family-owned and -operated winery, introduces an exciting new wine club focusing exclusively on white, rosé and sparkling wines. The new club is in response to customer feedback, and syncs up with national and global trends showing white wine on the rise.
“Until now, we’ve had four wine clubs, each showcasing an array of red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines,” says Nicole Jung, head of Direct-to-Consumer Sales and Marketing at Sokol Blosser. “Recently, we’ve noticed a rising preference for white wines, and rather than risking club cancellations, we are embracing this trend with a new wine club especially for white wine lovers. As someone who adores the crisp elegance of white wines, this is a club that I would personally join.”
The new Sokol Blosser Blanc Club is available now for sign-up online and in the tasting room. Members will get three shipments of six wines per year and the average cost per shipment will be approximately $199.
The debut Blanc Club collection will be available through summer, and includes a customizable mix of six wines. Club members can choose from 12 wines including 2023 Rosé of Pinot Noir, 2023 Estate Müller-Thurgau, 2021 Estate Dundee Hills Chardonnay, 2023 Willamette Valley Sauvignon Blanc, 2022 Willamette Valley Pinot Gris, 2021 Estate Riesling, five sparkling wines and a sweet Estate Riesling dessert wine.
Sokol Blosser Winemaker Robin Howell spearheaded Sokol Blosser’s sparkling program more than a decade ago with the 2013 Sparkling Rosé of Pinot Noir from Blossom Ridge Vineyard. “I have a huge passion for making sparkling wines and I also love creating still white wines,” says Howell. “I’m excited that we found a way to give our customers who love white wines their own club.”
In addition to wine shipments, club members also get savings on additional wine purchases, complimentary tastings at Sokol Blosser’s tasting room, club-only events, access to exclusive club wines and pre-releases, plus they earn Sokol Blosser rewards on all purchases, which can be redeemed for experiences, signed bottles and other goodies.
