Lodi, CA — January 20, 2024 — The Lodi District Chamber of Commerce’s Agribusiness Committee, in collaboration with the University of California Cooperative Extension, is proud to announce the much-anticipated 2024 Grape Day event, scheduled for Tuesday, February 6th, at Hutchins St Square. This annual symposium brings together industry experts, grape growers, pest control advisors, winery personnel, bankers, and business leaders for a day of insightful discussions, valuable information, and networking opportunities. We are extremely excited to have Corey Beck, one of the most respected names in the wine industry, as the keynote speaker.

Keynote Speaker: Corey Beck, Executive Vice President Production & Chief Winemaker
Corey Beck, with over 25 years of experience in the wine industry, will be the distinguished keynote speaker for the luncheon. Starting his career in viticulture alongside his grandfather, the vineyard manager for Chateau Montelena, Corey has made significant contributions to the industry. From transforming wineries in Sonoma to his current role as EVP, Production, and Chief Winemaker at Delicato Winery, Corey’s expertise and leadership have earned him recognition as one of the “Top 50 Leaders” by Wine Business Monthly. Corey earned his degree in Fermentation Science from the University of California, Davis.

Co-hosted by the Lodi District Chamber of Commerce’s Agribusiness Committee and the University of California Cooperative Extension, Grape Day focuses on addressing the challenges faced by grape growers today. The symposium covers vital topics such as improving yields, fighting diseases, market trends, and mechanization technologies. The program is developed by the Lodi Chamber of Commerce Agri-business community in partnership with Justin Tanner, Viticulture Advisor with University of California Cooperative Extension in San Joaquin County and Dr Stephanie Bolton, Research & Education Director & Sustainable Winegrowing Director with the Lodi Winegrape Commission.
