The Scholarships are equally funded by Artémis Domaines and the Gérard Basset Foundation in partnership with Liquid Icons. Each Scholarship has a value of 20,000€. The Judging Panel is made up of Ian Harris MBE DipWSET representing the Gérard Basset Foundation and Jean Garandeau of Artémis Domaines.
Ian Harris DipWSET, Trustee of the Gérard Basset Foundation, commented: “It was an honour to meet 12 very talented people on screen last year – all applicants for the Artémis Domaines Scholarships – and it was very moving to hear the stories of how they were all coping with incredible personal hardship as a result of the conflict in their country. Their determination to succeed in the face of insurmountable odds was very humbling, and I am very pleased that the Gérard Basset Foundation – thanks to the generosity of Artémis Domaines – has been able to help at such a difficult time in all their lives”.
