Celebrate with Innovative Winery Experiences and Promotions
“Sonoma County wineries offer numerous types of tasting experiences available for a variety of wine lovers,” according to Sonoma County Vintners (SCV) Executive Director Michael Haney. “We know we’re lucky to live and work in such a beautiful place. Our winemakers and friendly tasting room representatives enjoy connecting with visitors who are exploring Sonoma County for the first time and Wine Country veterans who visit frequently to check out the latest wines release, wine and food pairings and stunning vistas.”
Sonoma County wineries will celebrate Wine Month with a multitude of entertaining and educational experiences. Find the perfect match for your palate on the dedicated Sonoma County Wine Month listing of experiences and promotions. Choose from adventures such as vineyard hikes focused on sustainable agriculture, wine pairings with cooking classes, spring wine release days, and art gallery tours. Some wineries have scheduled weekly events in April featuring live music, food trucks, library tastings, and brunch in the vineyard. Wineries with exquisite views have outdoor tasting and picnic options as well as reservations for cabanas or bocce ball courts with bottle service. Vegan travelers will find numerous options and dog lovers will be happy to find that their fur babies are welcome in many places.
For those who simply can’t make it to Sonoma County to celebrate Wine Month this year there are many options to participate at home. Virtual happy hours, cooking demonstrations and wine tasting experiences have become regular offerings from wineries and some have created special packages just for Sonoma County Wine Month. New wine releases, shipping offers and “wine for good” offers with proceeds benefiting nonprofits are all available on participating winery websites.
