Wine and Spirits brands can now secure and manage distribution in 8 markets via one platform
San Jose, CA, October 6, 2021 — LibDibTM today announced that the company is now a licensed wholesale alcohol distributor in the state of Connecticut. LibDib has opened this new market to all wine and spirits producers seeking distribution.
“Three-tier distribution is the lifeblood of Makers as they grow and I’m thrilled that LibDib now offers access to distribution in 8 states,” said Cheryl Durzy, Founder and CEO of LibDib. “We are continuing our promise to open markets for wine and spirits Makers via our innovative platform and we plan to expand to additional states in the coming months.”
LibDib’s three-tier compliant, web-based distribution is now available in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, New York, Texas, and Wisconsin. Connecticut is open to Makers to sign up. Web and app-based purchasing by restaurants, bars and retailers will be available soon.
“We are very excited to join LibDib in Connecticut,” said Jimmy Sharp, Co-Owner and Head Distiller for John Emerald Distilling Company, based in Opelika, Alabama. “Having seen success in several other LibDib markets, it is very simple to expand via the platform. Just a few clicks, some market-appropriate price adjustments, and our spirits are available for retailers and restaurants in a new state.”
Makers interested in any LibDib market can sign up for a free account on LibDib.com, enter products and pricing by market, and create a LibShip account. Interested Makers can find more details here.
The expansion into Connecticut comes just a few weeks after LibDib launched LibDib@RNDC TX, a new sales division at RNDC within the state of Texas. The new joint model provides a distribution option for both established RNDC suppliers, as well as new and emerging brands. As partners, LibDib can incubate and graduate brands to RNDC. More information on Texas can be found here.
