May 25th – To hear Moroccan-born winemaker Malek Amrani describe a barrel of 2018 100% Single-Vineyard Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon that he held back in anticipation of bringing a phenomenal wine to Napa’s prestigious charitable trade event, is nothing short of poetry. For their first time at Premiere Napa Valley, The Vice Wine donated one of the largest lots in the 2021 auction.
The wine is sustainably produced, unfiltered and unfined. Hand-selected by Amrani, this Single-Vineyard Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is single barrel-fermented and aged for 28 months in 100% Sylvain Grande Reserve heavy toast new French oak. Powerful, muscular and plush, this wine is energetic and intense in its youth, with a lifetime ahead in the cellar.
Completely without pretension, Malek Amrani, the winemaker and entrepreneur at the helm of The Vice Wine, has grown a luxury brand that reflects the values of its founders: quality, sustainability, sophistication, health, and “exclusivity for everyone”.
