Promotion after five years at Silver Trident Winery
Yountville, Napa Valley, April 2021 —- Beth Bowlin has been promoted to Hospitality Manager at Silver Trident Winery in Yountville. “’We are so pleased to announce that Beth Bowlin has been promoted to the position of Hospitality Manager of Silver Trident Winery. Beth exemplifies our commitment that each and every guest has a superb experience,” said Shane Soldinger, the winery’s General Manager, in making the announcement.
In her new role, Beth will oversee guest experiences at the Tasting Home, which include the winery’s Perfect Pairing experience and the Potato Chip Extravaganza. “I’m honored to be part of this charming assemblage of personalities, with its distinctively elegant wines and surroundings,” Beth commented. “There isn’t a moment I’m not grateful for what our team has created here and are able to share with our guests,” she adds. Beth’s responsibilities will include the winery’s art program in association with Ralph Lauren Home. Beth came to Silver Trident from hospitality positions ranging from fine dining beverage director to outbound wine sales.
Beth is laser-focused on insuring an exceptionally curated guest experience. Early during the pandemic, while the tasting room was closed, she conducted remote tastings and Zoomed yoga classes for wine club members, a program dubbed Namasté at Home. When not at the Tasting Home, her hobbies include offering yoga through the Town of Yountville and for guests of Bardessono, attending concerts and studying for her certified (level 2) sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers. She lives in Yountville with her partner, Bradley, and their cat and rabbit.
Silver Trident Winery is a small production winery whose Yountville Tasting Home is a tasting room as well as an elegant showroom with décor and furnishings by the Ralph Lauren Home Collection. It is located at 6495 Washington Street, Yountville, CA 94599 and is open seven days a week 11ish – 6ish. In compliance with coronavirus protocols at the time of this printing, tastings are currently available outside as well as up to 50% capacity indoors. All tastings are by reservation only.
The winery’s current releases are 2019 Symphony No. 9 Sauvignon Blanc, Apollo’s Folly Rosé of Pinot Noir, 2017 Benevolent Dictator Pinot Noir, 2018 Playing With Fire Proprietary Red Blend, 2016 Twenty-Seven Fathoms Cabernet Sauvignon and 2016 Friends & Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.
Silver Trident’s Potato Chip Extravaganza begins with a splash of the Apollo’s Folly Rosé and is followed by all four current releases wines, each paired with a different artisanal potato chip.
Silver Trident’s Perfect Pairing begins with a splash of the Apollo’s Folly Rosé and is followed by a flight of the same four current release wines. Each wine is then paired with a bite-sized canapé designed by James Beard award-winning chef, Sarah Scott, to enhance the nuances of the small-lot-production wines.
