WINE WOMEN hosts, “After the Fires: Beyond Lessons Learned,” on July 17th at Buena Vista Winery in Sonoma at 5:30 p.m. Moderated by Chet Laws, Director of Business Development, InterWest Insurance Services, the panelists will include several experts from CAL Fire, wineries, vineyard management and the insurance businesses. Guests will enjoy a wine and appetizer reception, followed by the panel discussion to reflect on the impact of the fires on our businesses, our land and our people.

Moderated by Mr. Laws, the panelists will include Shana Jones, CAL Fire Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit Chief; Katelyn Duarte, PHR Human Resources and Operations, Regusci Vineyard Management; Tom Blackwood, Director of Operations, Boisset Collection; Brendan Wright of Paragon Insurance; and Janet Ruiz, Direct Strategic Communications for Insurance Information Institute.
The panel will share the lessons learned; review the progress of our recovery as a region; and discuss how climate change is altering the landscape and how we need to prepare for the possibility of future fires.
