CHICAGO, IL — December 18th, 2023 —Wine, food, and travel TV show V is for Vino premiered its much anticipated “Chile” episode on December 17th. V is for Vino follows host and sommelier Vince Anter as he hits the road to explore wine regions and their people, history, culture, food, and wine topics. The Chile episode, part of the show’s 5th season, can currently be seen on YouTube. It will also air on various other platforms in future syndication (US airports via ReachTV, Amazon Prime, and the Wine Network, to name a few).

The Chile episode marks the show’s first foray into South America and explores a wine country that is often misunderstood. “Chile was known for so long as a hub for bargain wine,” says show host and sommelier Vince, “and while the wines are still bargains, the country as a whole has shifted its focus to higher quality, terroir-driven wines that can even compete with the best from Napa, albeit for 20-30% less. It’s an amazingly diverse country that needs to be on every wine lover’s bucket list!”

Featured wineries include San Pedro, VIK, Montes, Leyda, and Forajidos. The episode also includes delicious Chilean cuisine, breathtaking landscapes, horseback riding, the city of Santiago, and educational segments describing Chilean wine culture and history.
