November 17th – It was a hugely successful evening for Stanton & Killeen Wines on Tuesday, with the seven generation Rutherglen winery picking up two awards, and two finalist nominations at the annual national Wine Communicators Awards, presented by Wine Communicators Australia.
S&K topped many well-known wine brands to take home the award for best wine marketing communication campaign for their Liquid Luxury campaign which promotes their at-home fortified barrel club, and they also won best wine serial publication, recognising their Quinta Quarterly magazine.
S&K were also named as finalists in two categories: Best wine-themed event and best wine communicator – cellar door.
Sam Cooper, Sales & Marketing Manager at Stanton & Killeen Wines, was in Sydney to personally accept the awards, and was in the esteemed company of many of Australia’s most recognisable and revered brands in wine.
“These awards reflect the shared passion and dedication of the entire team at S&K”, Sam said. “To be recognised in the company of organisations like Giesen, Accolade, Singlefile and other national icons is a real pinch-me moment.”
Sam, along with the team at Stanton and Killeen, demonstrate a dedication to excellence in wine communication. They’ve spent the last few years strategically refining and elevating the way they engage with customers, visitors and the wider industry, and these awards demonstrate the hard work put in by all.
“At Stanton & Killeen, we proudly champion innovation, foster a culture of ideas, and cultivate curiosity within our team. Seeing the team rewarded for thinking outside the box and engaging meaningfully with our customers is nothing short of brilliant.” Commented Natasha Killeen, General Manager.
Sam is looking forward to what other wonderful ideas the team can deliver in 2024. “These awards keep us motivated to push boundaries, try new things, and connect with our audiences in a meaningful way. We love creating memorable experiences and telling our stories in a way that resonates.”
Stanton & Killeen Wines is a 148-year-old winery in Rutherglen with award-winning wines, cellar door, and a range of experiences to discover. Sam is often at cellar door and loves meeting customers and hearing about what brings them to Rutherglen. “We encourage people to visit the winery to experience our wines and history for themselves and share with us their own stories – there’s nothing more special than connecting with people over shared passions and experiences.”
