August 21st – PENN YAN, NY – Fox Run Vineyards is pleased to announce the addition of Angelica Lawler as Assistant Winemaker.
Angelica comes to Fox Run with an unconventional journey and a deep-rooted passion for wine.
Angelica began her journey at the age of 19 in the town of Guilford, Connecticut. She started as a cashier at a high-end wine shop where she developed her love of wine. While studying business, Angelica began to wonder how she could combine her love of wine and her academic background. It all began to come together when she learned of a “harvest intern” job across the country, leading her to find an opportunity out in Sonoma. After her first internship, she began her unconventional winemaking journey with internships in Australia, Oregon, and South Africa.
Back on the east coast, she continued her education and worked at Dr. Konstantin Frank winery before eventually joining the team at Fox Run.
“When I relocated to the Finger Lakes in 2021, Fox Run quickly became one of my favorite wineries in the region so, to say I was thrilled to join this team would be a massive understatement.” said Lawler, “The Fox Run family has been nothing short of welcoming and supportive, all while valuing my opinions and insight. I am excited to continue my winemaking journey with Craig and the rest of our team; I am confident that I will continue to grow as a winemaker with them by my side.”
“Angelica’s resume is impressive but her passion, drive, and wine palate are what made her the right fit for Fox Run,” said Craig Hosbach, Fox Run’s Head Winemaker.
“We are thrilled to have Angelica as an integral part of our winemaking team,” said Scott Osborn, President and Co-Owner of Fox Run Vineyards.
