Learning how to manage our money effectively allows us the flexibility and freedom to control our life’s trajectory and to pursue our goals. I look forward to sharing a few tools and resources to help members of our community start their journey of financial empowerment.” Says Singh.
With an emphasis on financial literacy basics, this seminar is geared towards the unique nature of sommeliers and hospitality professionals who often work in less predictable and financially stable environments. The seminar will cover budgeting, best financial practices, debt and other pitfalls, how to plan for emergencies, and more. The seminar will also include scholarship and financial opportunities available to sommeliersand will conclude with a Q&A session where attendees can engage directly with the hosts to gain further insights. While the seminar will be directed to wine professionals, the Foundation encourages anyone in the hospitality industry to attend. Registration is required to participate.
“We are so thrilled to begin hosting webinars focused on the personal and professional development for our industry. Although we will always provide funding for individuals in great need, we look forward to being a resource that supports and strengthens our community in other aspects of their lives.” Says USF President Cristie Norman.
