April 18th – Livermore Valley, CA – Cabernet Franc lovers and wine producers are descending upon Livermore Valley from June 1st – 4th for CabFranc-A-Palooza! Over the course of 4 days, 40+ wineries will celebrate all things Cabernet Franc with events and tastings – culminating in the Grand Tasting on Sunday June 4th. Thursday June 1st, 6-8:30pm: A Celebration of Livermore Valley Cabernet Franc. CabFranc-A Palooza kicks off on Thursday night at Posada Restaurant in Livermore. This walk-around outdoor event will highlight 16 Livermore Valley Cabernet Franc producers and a selection of contemporary Southwestern inspired bites from Chef Eduardo Posada.
Friday June 2nd, 6-8pm: Livermore Valley vs. Loire Valley, A Blind Tasting! Join winemaker, Steven Kent Mirassou, and Jim Denham, owner of The Wine Steward in Pleasanton, for the ultimate Cabernet Franc blind tasting. 6 wines from 2 regions, including the histories of both regions, followed by the grand unveil.
Saturday June 3rd, 5-7pm: An Exploration into Cabernet Franc will offer an intimate tasting experience with winemakers from five unique regions: Livermore Valley, Napa Valley, Oregon, Virginia, and Bordeaux. Each winery will pour TWO Cab Francs that highlight their region and winemaking style, paired with a Charcuterie grazing table at Charming Fig in Livermore.
Sunday June 4th, 12-4pm: The Grand Tasting will be hosted outdoors at the Steven Kent Winery in Livermore, CA, and will feature 25 wineries from 18 unique wine regions that produce world-class Cabernet Franc. The event will also feature live music, cirque performers, midway style carnival games, food trucks, and more.

Non-Profit Partner for CabFranc-A-Palooza is the Tri-Valley Conservancy, whose mission is to promote economically sustainable vineyards and orchards, and increase permanently protected, biologically diverse open spaces. The TVC is an advocate for Livermore Valley winegrowers and raising awareness of this world-class growing region
