Bogle Family Wine Collection Welcomes New Vice President of Sales to Lead Its Growing Brand Portfolio

Dan Grunbec

December 16th – Clarksburg, Calif. – Bogle Family Wine Collection is pleased to announce the addition of Dan Grunbeck as its new Vice President of Sales. Grunbeck will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing new placement opportunities for the Bogle Family Vineyards, Twenty Acres by Bogle, Juggernaut and Phantom brands as well as managing distribution partners.

With more than thirty years in the wine and spirits industry, Grunbeck has served in various upper management roles throughout his career. This includes 13 years with Youngs Market where he helped sell Bogle wines in the West.

“Dan comes to us with a familiarity of our wines and a proven track record of growing brands across a variety of price points,” said President and Vineyard Director, Warren Bogle. “We believe he will fit in with our family culture and values, and be a leader for our sales team members across the country.”

Grunbeck is the third member of the executive team that includes VP of Winemaking, Eric Aafedt and VP of Marketing, Paul Englert. The trio works under the direction of Bogle’s third generation owner-managers, Warren, Ryan and Jody Bogle

“I have worked with and admired the Bogle family for many years,” said Vice President of Sales, Dan Grunbeck. “This is a company of great character and has a tremendous amount of respect in the wine industry. I look forward to getting started and helping us meet growth goals in 2023 and beyond.

Grunbeck steps into the Vice President of Sales role after the unexpected passing of Dan Ewer this past August, someone Grunbeck had worked with closely over the years.

“Replacing someone like Dan Ewer is difficult, so we are grateful in this situation to have someone come into the position who shares a similar vision and with whom we have developed a familiarity and trust.” said Vice President of Consumer Relations, Jody Bogle.

Bogle Vineyards is located in Clarksburg, California, and is run by the sixth generation of the Bogle family to live and work in the Sacramento Delta region. Bogle was honored as Wine Enthusiast’s 2019 American Winery of the Year, tabbed as the California Association of Winegrape Growers 2022 Grower of the Year and was presented with the Green Medal Leader Award in 2018 for its sustainability efforts in the winery and vineyards.
