Michelle Chan, Head of Wine, Christie’s Asia Pacific commented, “We are very honoured to have been entrusted with the sales of two very important and major single-owner collections, which both demonstrate the vision, focus, devotion, passion, and expertise of the two distinguished wine connoisseurs. Not only do they aspire to acquire the rarest and finest wines from celebrated producers around the world, but they also embrace the same enthusiasm in sharing their precious purchases that they have amassed for decades, with wine lovers across the globe.
The wine market in Asia is as vibrant as ever, and the demand for diverse and quality wines from single-owner collections is surging, as reflected by the results of our white-glove sale of ‘Iconic Wines From Joseph Lau’ last month. By offering these two extraordinary personal cellars with a historic combined estimated total at HK$165M, this spring, our Hong Kong saleroom will open another monumental chapter for wine auctions at Christie’s.”
