SONOMA, Calif. (February 5, 2021) – Sojourn Cellars, one of California’s most highly rated producers of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, is proud to announce the addition of Patrick Seymour as National Sales Manager. Certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, Seymour has been in the industry for over 20 years and is perfectly positioned to lead Sojourn’s sales efforts.
“We are thrilled to welcome Patrick to our team,” said Erich Bradley, Sojourn Cellars Co-Founder and Director of Winemaking. “His background in production and as a sommelier combined with his extensive sales experience makes him a fantastic fit for Sojourn.”
Prior to joining Sojourn Cellars, Seymour was the Senior Brand Manager as a consultant for Boich Family Cellar, a luxury Napa Valley property, where he oversaw and managed their wholesale partners. In addition to expanding sales in each segment of the national market, Seymour hosted private curated wine experiences for fine wine collectors and prominent wine industry professionals. Seymour will continue to offer these memorable experiences at Sojourn Cellars.
Seymour began his career in wine 20 years ago working for the Robert Mondavi Family of Wines as assistant general manager and assistant winemaker. He worked under the guidance of pioneering winemaker Ken Brown to craft small lots of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from their estate vineyards in the Santa Maria Valley of Santa Barbara County. Seymour left the Mondavi Family to start his own private label of small production California wines in partnership with a Hong Kong-based distribution corporation. He sold his interest in the company before joining Trione Vineyards and Winery in Sonoma County as national sales manager for the family’s newly launched wine brand. There, Seymour worked to assist the winemaking team, becoming an integral member in the production of many award-wining wines under the Trione Vineyards label and having influence on the profile and production of the Alexander Valley and Russian River line of wines.
“I am thrilled to be a part of the Sojourn Cellars team and to work with the talented winemakers at this iconic Sonoma brand,” commented Seymour. “I look forward to sharing Sojourn’s highly-rated wines with our restaurant, retail and distribution partners.”
