DeLille Cellars Announces Grand Preview Weekend for New Tasting Room at Hollywood Station

With the new space set to officially open in December, the weekend preview invites guests to be the first to tour and experience the tasting room and retail tower

WOODINVILLE, Wash. (November 6, 2019) – DeLille Cellars, one of Woodinville’s founding wineries, today announced their upcoming Grand Preview Taste and Tour Weekend event, named “Uniquely DeLille Cellars” — Friday, November 29 to Sunday, December 1 — to celebrate the completion of their new tasting room and retail tower at Hollywood Station. In advance of the official opening for seated tastings in December, guests will be able to enjoy DeLille wines, cheese pairings and live music while getting a first look of the private tasting rooms, library room, third-story rooftop deck with views of Mount Rainier, and mezzanine overlooking the winemaking facility and barrel room. Guests will also receive a “Uniquely DeLille Cellars” commemorative glass for this special event.

“We can’t wait to open our doors and showcase DeLille’s new home,” said CEO Tom Dugan. “This will mark the first time since 1998 that we’ve had our winery and retail operations under one roof, and with the adjacent access to winemaking and a unique three story tasting room tower, we’re very excited to welcome wine club members and guests to share connections, create joy and experience our passion for Washington wine.”

“With our new home at Hollywood Station, we now have a space ideally suited to present our world-class wines, our history and approach to winemaking,” added Jason Gorski, DeLille’s director of winemaking. “It has been incredibly rewarding to repurpose the iconic Redhook Brewery and I hope it will continue to be a hub for the local community and a beacon for wine lovers.”

In addition to the “taste around” experience, the Grand Preview weekend also lands during DeLille’s annual Blanc Friday, Cabernet Monday and Drink D2 Day celebrations. Those in attendance will receive best-of-the-year offers extending throughout the weekend on Chaleur Blanc, Grand Ciel Cabernet and D2, culminating in the winery’s third annual Drink D2 Day celebration on December 2nd. Tasting tickets for Friday through Sunday are available for $30, with time slots from 11:00am-1:00 pm, 1:30-3:30pm, and 4:00-6:00pm. A more casual taste and tour experience will take place on December 2nd, Drink D2 Day, with tastings available at the door on a first-come basis.

DeLille Cellars is a prominent player in developing Washington State as a premier wine region and they look to continue elevating the Washington wine experience through this endeavor which unites all of their operations under one roof for the first time since 1998. All three levels of the new building will offer predominantly seated tasting experiences for a variety of guests and group sizes, with the main level open to the public and the upper floors available for wine club members and their guests, in addition to space for corporate dinners and events after hours.
