Entries Are Officially Open for 2019’s Experience Rosé Wine Competition; Early Birds Save by March 29

Healdsburg, Calif., (March 4, 2019). Wineries may now enter the 2019 Experience Rosé wine competition (formerly Rosé Today). Produced by Wine Competitions Management & Productions, the judging will take place at Soda Rock Winery in Healdsburg, Calif. on May 1, 2019.

Those who register by March 29 will enjoy a $5-dollar savings per entry.

Experience Rosé is one of only a handful of U.S. competitions exclusively focused on identifying excellence in rosé wine, domestic and international, all styles. “Last year this event drew entries from some of the very best rosé wines in the nation with its winner, Draxton Wines, scoring an unbelievable 100 points for its 2017 Pinot Meunier Rosé, Napa Valley,” according to event producer Debra Del Fiorentino.

She adds, “This judging is committed to the highest standards of competition. Now entering its sixth year it has consistently grown in popularity since its inception. The Experience Rosé judging seeks the very best in dry, a little sweet and sparkling styles that pair quality winemaking with the passion for rosé and its infinite possibilities.”

The Competition embodies the concept of rosé wines as an integral part of the wine drinking experience every day, all year long “because every day pairs better with Rosé,” the tagline for this and every Experience Rosé event. “That’s the idea that attracted us so irresistibly to this lifestyle concept of Experience Rosé,” proclaims Founder and Producer Craig Palmer. “Experience Rosé showcases excellence in rosé winemaking, connecting wine lovers with singular adventures and curated resources that are spirited, expansive and revelatory.”

Members of the media are invited to attend Media Day on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Soda Rock Winery where top awards will be announced and top winners will be pouring their rosé wines. In addition, a public tasting entitled The Great Rosé Infusion for Summer is planned for Saturday, June 22, 2019, noon to 4:00 p.m. also at Soda Rock Winery. A harvest tasting is also in development with details to be announced.
