Starting February 3, 2025, Chambers & Chambers will serve as the exclusive distributor for both producers in the California market, building upon many successful years of partnership in Hawaii.
TEMPOS Vega Sicilia, established in 1982 by the Álvarez family, focuses on consistent quality and client dedication. The group includes five wineries: Bodegas Vega Sicilia, Bodegas y Viñedos Alión, Bodegas y Viñedos Pintia, Benjamin de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia (all in Spain), and Tokaj-Oremus (in Hungary). Bodegas Lustau was founded in 1896 by José Ruiz-Berdejo as an almacenista (small family business), with significant milestones including the move to Jerez de la Frontera in 1931, the commercialization of its own brands in 1945, and the start of sherry exports in 1950. The 1980s saw innovations like the Solera Familiar range and Almacenista bottlings, and in 1988, Lustau introduced a distinctive bottle design. The 1990 merger with Luis Caballero enabled further expansion, and in 2000, Lustau acquired and restored six 19th-century bodega buildings in Jerez. Today, Bodegas Lustau is recognized as a world-class benchmark for top-quality wines, having received numerous prestigious awards, including Best Spanish Winery in 2011 and Best Sherry Producer in 2014 and 2016 by the International Wine & Spirit Competition. Lustau is also the first winery in history to win the Len Evans Trophy for consistency twice, in 2011 and 2016, awarded by the International Wine Challenge.
