Napa Valley’s Bouchaine Vineyards Releases Vintage-Dated, Estate-Grown Non-Alcoholic Wine

Napa, CA (Jan. 9, 2025)—Tatiana Copeland, Chairman and Founder of Bouchaine Vineyards in Napa’s Carneros AVA, is pleased to announce the introduction of the winery’s first non-alcoholic “wine.” The 2023 Bouchaine Estate Selection Non-Alcoholic Rosé (SRP $25) is available for purchase at the winery’s website and tasting room overlooking the San Pablo Bay, located at 1075 Buchli Station Road, Napa, California. The vintage-dated, non-alcoholic Napa Valley wine is made with 100% estate grown Pinot Noir from Bouchaine’s 100-acres of sustainably farmed vineyards.

“Year-round, our team carefully cultivates extraordinary, food-friendly wines, and this non-alcoholic rosé is no exception,” says President and Winemaker Chris Kajani. “Not everyone who visits Bouchaine drinks alcohol, so we decided that making an alcohol-free wine is the best way to ensure that everyone who comes to the winery not only feels welcomed but can also taste what makes our fruit so special, alcohol or no alcohol.”

Situated in the Carneros region, which is significantly cooler than the rest of Napa Valley, Bouchaine’s estate vineyard encompasses nearly 20 distinct microclimates. The shallow clay loam soils of the vineyard are perfectly suited for growing Pinot Noir, of which 46 acres are planted. Combined with the cooler weather influences of the San Pablo Bay and the area’s diverse topography, the fruit from Bouchaine Vineyards brings bright acidity and structure to every Bouchaine wine.

Living by the motto “Wine Makes you Happy™,” Bouchaine’s proprietors Tatiana and Gerret Copeland enjoy creating magical and memorable experiences for their guests. “We want everyone to have something special to look forward to when they visit us; whether that’s tasting wines directly from the barrel or from our new amphoras, exploring our wide array of clonal Pinot Noirs, experiencing our falconry program, or enjoying the beauty of our estate fruit — now with or without the alcohol,” says Tatiana Copeland.

The 2023 Bouchaine Estate Selection Non-Alcoholic Rosé is now available for purchase through the winery’s website and tasting room. Please click here for the technical sheet and bottle shot of the alcohol-free wine.

About Bouchaine Vineyards

Bouchaine was founded by Gerret and Tatiana Copeland in 1981 and is today one of the leading producers of sustainably farmed Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the Carneros AVA. The estate is comprised of 104 acres, including a dramatic tasting room designed in the form of a welcoming embrace, complete with a state-of-the-art open kitchen. The vineyards at Bouchaine are greatly influenced by the adjacent San Pablo Bay, where cool breezes and the daily influx of fog allow cool climate varieties to shine. The location’s substantial daily temperature shifts also help develop beautiful acidity in the fruit, resulting in wines with vivid energy and texture. Noted as the first “Fish Friendly Farming” certified vineyard in Napa Valley, the winery is also Napa Green land and winery certified. If one sentence can encapsulate the energy of Bouchaine, it is the winery’s new trademarked slogan, “Wine Makes you Happy™.” For more information about Bouchaine Vineyards, please visit https://bouchaine.com/
