Franciacorta Announces Winners of Second Annual Restaurant Weeks in New York, Chicago, Miami

August 9, 2024 (New York, NY) – Franciacorta is proud to announce the winners of the second-annual Franciacorta Restaurant Weeks that were held in New York, NY, Chicago, Il and Miami, FL from June 1 – June 15, 2024.

“We are very appreciative of all of the hard work and effort each restaurant put into this promotion,” said the President of Consorzio Franciacorta Silvano Brescianini, “each restaurant truly showcased Franciacorta in a special way that was as unique as the locations themselves.”

Participating restaurants included:

New York: Corkbuzz, Creston, Principe, Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, Antica Pesa Miami: Ironside Pizza, Omakai, Toscano de Mare, Macchialina, Boia De, Chevre
Chicago: Monteverde, Acanto, Table Donkey Stick, Atelier, Picnic Wine & Provisions

Promotions included multiple by-the-glass offerings throughout as well as events such as bootcamp, special tasting menu opportunities, and new producers to taste in flights.

Consorzio Franciacorta is the body which guarantees and monitors Franciacorta production standards, as the first Italian wine produced exclusively with the bottle refermentation process to have obtained the Protected and Guaranteed Designation of Origin (DOCG) denomination in 1995. The consortium’s work is developed in various activities: from safeguarding the brand and the area, and promoting the product in ongoing work on the production regulations and standards, to raising consumer awareness and promoting Franciacorta as an expression of an area, a wine and a production method. Founded on 5 March 1990, its head offices are in Erbusco, in the heart of Franciacorta. The consortium is presided over by Silvano Brescianini and has 122 wine estate members.
