Our 2021 Nebbiolo Riserva and 2021 Lagrein Riserva have both earned an impressive 92 points, while our 2021 Montepulciano has received an exceptional 91 points. These accolades place our wines in the esteemed category of 90+ point ratings, signifying excellence.
Wine Enthusiast awards 90+ points to the most impressive wines, with 90-93 points considered excellent. The recognition of our 2021 vintage underscores our commitment to producing high-quality, terroir-driven Italian varietal wines that reflect the unique character of the Paso Robles region.

2021 Nebbiolo Riserva – 92 Points- Cellar Selection
Cleanly delivered aromas of boysenberry, black plum and light spice are fresh and vibrant on the nose of this bottling. A firm, leathery grip frames the acid-driven, rather ripe fruit flavors, which are dusted in pepper and herb. It’s quite young, so drink 2026-2042. — Matt Kettmann, WE
2021 Lagrein Riserva – 92 Points
There’s an impressive purity of fruit that shines through on the nose of this bottling, with a strong black currant streak that’s leveled in graphite and desert herb aromas. The palate is vibrant with cassis, violet and pepper flavors, as firm tannins hold the ripeness together. — Matt Kettmann, WE
2021 Montepulciano – 91 Points
Ripe berry aromas are quite extracted but wrapped in alluringly dense spice scents on the nose of this estate bottling. The palate is bold, thick and powerful, yet those bright blackberry and pepper flavors are wrapped in leathery tannins that cling deep into the finish. — Matt Kettmann, WE
