The World’s First Queer Wine Fest Returns to Willamette Valley June 30

Third annual festival adds new wineries, special guest Salt n’ Straw, and live LGBTQI2S+ art and artist showcase

Dayton, Ore. (June 4, 2024) — Remy Wines announced today that tickets are now available for its third annual Queer Wine Fest which will bring together fifteen American wineries with LGBTQI2S+ leadership for an outdoor festival featuring thirty plus diverse wine selections, live music, ample local cuisine, and a lively, community-driven atmosphere on Sunday, June 30.

New this year, the festival will welcome special guest, Portland, Oregon based ice cream hero Salt n’ Straw, a live LGBTQI2S+ art and artist showcase curated by Portland artist and designer Zab Shavrick, and a special appearance from renowned contemporary queer artist Victoria Bradley.

“Queer Wine Fest’s community is growing across the U.S. and this year, we’re broadening its impact further by including queer-made visual art and LGBTQI2S+ artists,” said Remy Drabkin, owner and winemaker for Remy Wines and the founder of Queer Wine Fest. “We’re excited to celebrate a wider community of queer makers and the spectrum of LGBTQI2S+ creativity this year. Guests can expect every aspect of the event to reflect queer culture,” said Drabkin, “from the food to the music and art, and of course, the dozens of red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines poured by the makers themselves. I mean, what’s gayer than a queer art and wine party? Get your tickets early and plan your outfit now!”

The 2024 winery line-up features returning winery favorites as well as newcomers including: Augustina Cellars, Bryn Mawr Vineyards, Circadian Cellars, Elk Cove Vineyards and Pike Road, Franchere Wines, Iris Vineyards, K&M Wines, Landmass Wines, Remy Wines, ROCO Winery, St. Innocent Winery, Statera Cellars and Lares, Sunset Cellars, Vino di Famiglia, Westrey Wine Company, and Ze Cellars.

CAMP CRUSH will headline the stage show – the Portland-based, new-age pop duo produced by Rian Lewis (Doja Cat, Gorillaz, Chromeo, D.R.A.M.) who were featured among OPB’s Top 10 Sessions of 2019 and whose style the Portland Mercury described as “heavy on silky synths, skyscraper melodies, and a grand sense of drama… an impressive throwback to lush ’80s pop.”.

Hearty provisions from Renegade Mobile Kitchen, the team behind the popular Blind Pig restaurant in nearby Carlton, will accompany the wine tasting, which will be limited to 200 guests.
