Franciacorta Hosts Second Annual Restaurant Weeks in New York, Chicago, Miami June 1 – 15, 2024

May 31st – Franciacorta is proud to announce that the Franciacorta Restaurant Weeks will be held in New York, NY, Chicago, Il and Miami, FL from June 1 – June 15, 2024.

Following a successful series of events in Miami and Chicago last year, this year New York was added to the official celebration.

Participating restaurants include:

  • New York: Corkbuzz, Creston, Principe, Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, Antica Pesa
  • Miami: Ironside Pizza, Omakai, Toscano de Mare, Macchialina, Boia De, Chevre
  • Chicago: Monteverde, Acanto, Table Donkey Stick, Atelier, Picnic Wine & Provisions

“We’re ecstatic to host the second annual Franciacorta Restaurant Weeks and to now include New York City,” said President of the Consorzio Franciacorta, Silvano Brescianini, “this further showcases the ever-increasing interest and support for the category throughout the USA.”

Promotions will include multiple by-the-glass offerings throughout as well as events such as bootcamp, special tasting menu opportunities, and new producers to taste in flights.

Consorzio Franciacorta is the body which guarantees and monitors Franciacorta production standards, as the first Italian wine produced exclusively with the bottle refermentation process to have obtained the Protected and Guaranteed Designation of Origin (DOCG) denomination in 1995. The consortium’s work is developed in various activities: from safeguarding the brand and the area, and promoting the product in ongoing work on the production regulations and standards, to raising consumer awareness and promoting Franciacorta as an expression of an area, a wine and a production method. Founded on 5 March 1990, its head offices are in Erbusco, in the heart of Franciacorta. The consortium is presided over by Silvano Brescianini and has 122 wine estate members.
