Christone “Kingfish” Ingram Highlights a Summer of Luxury Events
HEALDSBURG, Calif., April 10, 2024 — Sonoma County’s Rodney Strong Vineyards announces its 2024 summer events calendar, featuring a diverse array of music, luxury wine and food experiences, and opportunities to be a ‘winemaker for a day.’
The destination winery, nestled among the vineyards of Russian River Valley, will host Grammy Award-winning blues master CHRISTONE “KINGFISH” INGRAM, in conjunction with the Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience on FRIDAY, MAY 17 – along with several smaller, luxury summer events including:
- The launch of AN EPICUREAN ADVENTURE on SATURDAY, MAY 4 pairing award-winning wines with savory bites, plus a special barrel tasting. Wine Club members enjoy complimentary tickets to this event with a guest.
- The second annual SUMMER SMOKE: STEAKS, CABERNET & CIGARS on SATURDAY, JUNE 15, a perfect Father’s Day weekend treat and a salute to big steaks, Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon and cigars, featuring Squire Cigars, a local Sonoma favorite since 1974.
- The SINGLE VINEYARD DINNER on SATURDAY, AUGUST 24, a wine club favorite, featuring the new vintage launch of Rodney Strong Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons: Alexander’s Crown, Rockaway and Brothers Vineyards, paired with a locally sourced, farm to table menu in an elegant alfresco setting.
- New WINEMAKERS SERIES events where guests taste and blend with winemakers in a fun, educational, and delicious environment. This is a look behind the curtain into a day in the life of a Sonoma County winemaker. A wine aficionado’s dream!
