New leadership appointments

Generational leadership shift, Alejandro Fantoni Jr. to succeed Alejandro “senior” as the CEO of TN Coopers.

This transition is part of a carefully planned succession strategy to ensure the continued success and growth of the company.

Alejandro Fantoni JrAlejandro “junior” graduated with a bachelor in Business and Economic Administration and a degree in marketing and innovation. Spent 7 years in the US working as a Country Manager, focusing in WA, California and Canada.

Strengthens team with strategic new hires,

Melissa Coronado

Melissa CoronadoHas been hired as the Oak Consultant for California and supports the barrel and oak alternative portfolios for TN Coopers.  She is a passionate and driven professional with a wide breadth of experience including winemaking, product development, and technical sales.  Her experience in the industry spans twenty years across three countries with the past seven years focused on helping develop and market wine and spirits oak maturation products.

Melissa holds diplomas both in Bioenvironmental Science from Texas A&M and MBA from Sonoma State University.  Melissa resides in Martinez and recently served on the board of CALICO which helps abused children in the Bay Area.

Will Wiles

Will WilesHas joined the team at TN Coopers as an Oak Consultant supporting Oregon, Washington, and Canada.  He comes to TN Coopers after spending 16 years in the Washington Wine Industry with experience in both small ultra-premium wineries and large production wineries, most recently as the Sr. Director of Winemaking for Columbia Crest Winery.  Before Columbia Crest, he spent 7 years at Col Solare Winery focusing on ultra-premium AVA and estate driven red wines.  He is passionate about winemaking and understands the important role that oak can play in crafting incredible wines.

Will’s introduction to the industry came at a young age when his parents planted a small vineyard and began making wine at home.  Seeing the attention and detail that went into that sparked his passion and the drive to pursue winemaking professionally.  He attended Washington State University where he would earn his B.S. in Horticulture with an emphasis on Viticulture and Enology.  Will also recently served on the board of the Washington Wine Technical Group in multiple roles including vice-chair and chair.  In the off days when not in a cellar or vineyard Will loves spending his time in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest camping and hiking with his wife and two daughters.
