This prestigious event showcased an extraordinary collection of wines from around the world, and the judges selected the finest among them.
The Las Vegas Global Wine Awards is proud to reveal the following categories of winners:
- Best in Show: The ultimate accolade of the competition, celebrating the brightest wine amongst all entries, displaying excellence, complexity, and character, goes to Rodney Strong Wine Estates 2022 Sonoma Coast Rose of Pinot Noir
- Chairman’s Award: A distinguished recognition presented by the Chairman of the LVGWA, reserved for a wine or winery that embodies unparalleled quality, craftsmanship, and innovation.
This year’s Chairmans Award Winner is De Bortoli Wines Pty Ltd of Australia. - Best White Wine: Honoring the crème de la crème of white wines, embodying grace, elegance, and finesse, goes to Oak Farm Vineyards for its 2022 Fiano (Mokelumne River).
- Best Red Wine: Recognizing the most outstanding red wine, a category that consistently captures the imagination of wine enthusiasts, goes to Rodney Strong Wine Estates 2021 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir.
- Best Rose: Rodney Strong Wine Estates 2022 Sonoma Coast Rose of Pinot Noir
- Best Sparkling Wine: Beck Family Estates NV Brut Western Cape
- Best Dessert Wine: De Bortoli Wines 2019 Noble One Botrytis Semillon
The Las Vegas Global Wine Awards has attracted a panel of expert judges, each renowned in their field, who have brought their extensive knowledge and expertise to the judging process. The competition boasts a rigorous blind-tasting format, ensuring an unbiased and objective evaluation of the wines.
“This year’s competition was the best for the incredible diversity of entries from around the world,” said Eddie Rivkin, CEO and Executive Director of the Las Vegas Global Wine Awards. “Every year, I say there is no way to top the quality and diversity of wines we receive and every year, I have to (happily) walk that statement back. I expect 2024, our 7th year will be the best yet.”
