July 26th – Healdsburg, CA — Wine Road, the renowned association of wineries and lodgings in Northern California, has launched an exciting new initiative – the Wine Road Ambassador Program. This unique program is designed for wine industry professionals and visitors alike, aiming to deepen their understanding of the Wine Road and its illustrious history.
“We are thrilled to launch our Wine Road Ambassador program! Our aim is to help foster an understanding of who we are, what we do, and how it all started,” said Beth Costa, Executive Director of Wine Road. “From industry professionals to wine enthusiasts, this program has something for everyone. We hope you’ll join us on this journey and become an expert on our beautiful little corner of the world.”
Participants will be granted exclusive access to a comprehensive study guide and insightful video content. The study guide is filled with comprehensive information about Wine Road and the American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) it represents, while the video features casual, unscripted conversations with the people along the Wine Road. The study guide and video together provide an enlightening view into the origins and evolution of the organization.
Following this, participants will have a chance to test their knowledge with a fun, multiple-choice quiz. Those who pass the quiz with flying colors will receive a unique, sought-after pin – a symbol of their comprehensive understanding of the Wine Road. The pin can be proudly worn at wineries, during sales calls, or even as a visitor, signifying their expertise in the Wine Road community.
“We’re not just giving away pins, we’re recognizing ambassadors who truly appreciate and understand the unique wine culture we’ve fostered here in Northern Sonoma County,” added Costa. “We believe that this program will not only bring our community closer but also enhance the experience of every visitor who travels along the Wine Road.”
Those interested in becoming part of this vibrant community should visit the Wine Road Ambassador page, download the Study Guide, and immerse themselves in the rich history and culture of Northern California’s premier wine region. Once complete, Ambassadors should show off their new knowledge, proudly wear their pin, and share their experience on social media – use the hashtag #wineroadlife to be featured on our pages!
