WSET Level 1 class offered on Friday before the expo, plus more classes on Saturday and Sunday
Cambridge, MA – (March 2023) – Commonwealth Wine School, located in Cambridge’s Harvard Square, has announced its partnership with the Boston Wine Expo, which takes place March 25-26 at Boston’s Park Plaza, located at 50 Park Plaza at Arlington Street. During the Expo, CWS experts will conduct a series of onsite educational seminars ranging from an introduction to blind tasting to an overview of Bordeaux through an exclusive set of classes, beginning with a WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 1 full-day certification course on the Friday before the Expo begins. The mission of WSET is to provide globally recognized education and qualifications in wines, spirits, and sake for professionals and enthusiasts.
CWS seminars held on Saturday, March 25 include a Focus on Bordeaux and Australian Wine Discovered. And on Sunday, March 26, from noon to 1:30pm, a lesson on The American Northeast – Great Wines Close to Home will focus on the history of the American wine industry. Also on Sunday, from 2-3:30pm, Commonwealth Wine School will lead an Intro to Wine Tasting – Blind Tasting for All Palates.
