Star Wine List to celebrate New York’s wine lists On March 8th, the award-winning wine guide Star Wine List will award the great wine lists of New York during Vinexpo America. Top wine professionals like Rajat Parr and Christy Canterbury MW are in the jury.
January 26th – “We can’t wait to bring our wine list awards to New York for the very first time and do it at Vinexpo America. The winners from New York will then face wine lists from Europe, South Africa, Asia and Australia at the International final in June,” says Krister Bengtsson, founder and publisher of Star Wine List.
Star Wine List of the Year New York will be judged by an exceptional panel of wine professionals, including the renowned sommelier and winemaker, Rajat Parr; Master of Wine Christy Canterbury; top Canadian sommelier Véronique Rivest and Master of Wine and Master Sommelier Doug Frost.
Any wine list from the New York Metro area can be entered, free of charge, up until the deadline on Sunday January 29. Interested wine bars and restaurants can enter through the Star Wine List website at https://starwinelist.com
“We already have entries from great wine places like Eleven Madison Park, Tribeca Grill and The Four Horsemen and look forward to more top lists entering in the coming days,” says Krister Bengtsson.
Star Wine List of the Year is a celebration of the great wine lists in the world and the teams behind them.
