Marc Mondavi and daughter Angelina Mondavi will host a discussion with Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund on Thursday, November 10 on Instagram Live
St. Helena, CA, November 8, 2022 – In honor of third generation co-proprietor Marc Mondavi’s 45th harvest with the winery, CK Mondavi and Family is giving back to organizations that support veterans and their families this fall. Throughout the holidays, CK Mondavi and Family will help host pop up dinners at Veterans organizations around the country.
“Any milestone anniversary is a time for reflection, and I’ve been thinking back over my impact and our company’s legacy. One of the things I’m most proud of is our commitment to community – that’s fundamental to how we approach our business,” said Marc Mondavi, co-proprietor, CK Mondavi and Family. “My father, Peter Mondavi, Sr., served in World War II. He was dedicated to helping other veterans, and it is a cause that is very meaningful to me as well.”
CK Mondavi & Family will also continue its support of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund® (IFHF), which benefits the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. Since 2012, the winery has made annual donations to IFHF, and has contributed more than $230,000 to date.
“Our long-term partners are critical to our ability to meet the needs of our military and veteran community. CK Mondavi and Family has been a supporter for more than a decade, and we’re grateful for their ongoing commitment,” said David Winters, President of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
Mondavi and his daughter, Angelina Mondavi, consulting winemaker for the C. Mondavi & Family portfolio, will host a live conversation with Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund to learn more about the organization’s important work supporting military personnel. David Winters, President, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, will join the Mondavis on Instagram Live for the discussion.

Marc Mondavi officially joined the family business in 1978, though he was a constant presence in the winery and vineyards from a very early age. Raised on the winery property, Marc always knew winemaking was his path. He studied viticulture and enology at the University of California, Davis, as well as marketing at California State University, Sacramento. He was especially interested in viticulture, and even today continues to oversee the family’s vineyards. He and wife Janice Mondavi have four daughters, Angelina, Alycia, Riana and Giovanna, who are each beginning to make their own mark as the fourth generation of family leadership.
“My father is a constant inspiration and has instilled in me the value of hard work and being a strong community member,” said Angelina Mondavi, member of the fourth generation, brand ambassador and board member. “As my sisters and I chart our paths as part of the fourth generation – from winemaking to sales to being family ambassadors – we are always thinking about how we can ensure CK Mondavi and Family remains at the forefront of high-quality, approachable wines that give back and do good.”
