Buenos Aires, October 18, 2022. Wine Innovation Summit (WIS) announces its fifth meeting on innovation in the wine industry. The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 3 at 10 a.m. (Argentina, Uruguay and Chile), 2 p.m. (Spain), with the theme: Trends and problems in the global context in the wine industry, maintaining continuity with the previous edition will become to deal with topics that have been of great interest such as e-commerce and cryptocurrencies, matters of great interest that the pandemic accelerated the incorporation of these trends worldwide.
In this edition, the opening will be in charge of Magdalena Pesce, CEO of Wines of Argentina (WOFA). In the first block, Vanesa Vignera, Crop Nutrition Business Manager INCENTIA of DVA Argentina, will address the use of biostimulants in the vine, with increasing interest due to the growth of organic viticulture. Water efficiency will be in charge of Dr. Carla Grosso Head Farmer Sales of Kilimo, who will refer to Technology applied to efficient irrigation in the vineyard.
In the following segment, Mike Barrow CEO of Openvino will refer to his OpenVino development: BioDigital Certification, Tokenization, and Traceability of wines. For his part, Ignacio Indaburu Head of Operations of Satoshi Tango, leaders in the world of cryptocurrencies, will introduce us to the world of cryptocurrencies and how they can be implemented in the industry. Marcelo Andino Product Owner of Qúbico Bodegas will present his new tool to help winemakers in managing information from a management system for winemaking. And Lis Clément, Commercial Manager of Bodegas Clément and its Finca Feliz wines, will tell us how to create and position a brand.
The third block, Axel Marinsek, eCommerce Manager of Wunderman Thompson Argentina and Chile, will share a report on Consumer Trends in Social Networks. The dialogue space will be with Ignacio Caride, Senior Vice President eCommerce Wal-Mart Mexico & Central America, who will share his experience in the world of e-commerce and will refer to the successful implementation in Wal-Mart Mexico. And finally, Estefanía Bruggia Brand & Communications Manager of Shipnow, will address a topic that is essential in the wine industry such as logistics.
With the same dynamics as the previous meetings, virtual and free again broadcast from the Floyd TV studios in Mendoza. The event will be divided into three thematic blocks, agriculture, innovation in the winery indoors and innovation outdoors.
