October 13th – The new e-volum is a key solution for winemakers who value keeping track of the wine stock in general and in each tank. WINEGRID’s new product measures the distance to liquid from the top of the tank and grants the knowledge of volume of wine anytime and anywhere. The accurate blending percentages provided by e-volum assure the consistency of the wine profile. This, along with the contactless measurements which maintain the wine’s integrity, avoids the reduction in quality and consequent devaluation of the brand and the final product. The ability to set customizable alarms for volume limits on WINEGRID Dashboard allows the winemaker to follow the process with greater safety and helps him to act proactively.
The new e-volum is the most recent addition to WINEGRID integrated system, which offers a wide range of products for the several stages of the winemaking process. WINEGRID’s solutions fully cover now all the stages of the winemaking process from pressing, fermentation (wineplus and barrelplus), maturation (e-bung), cellar environment (smartcellar), second fermentation (e-aphrom and e-charmat) to storage.
In combination with the Fermentation Monitoring System (wineplus) data, it is possible to know the blend percentage from each tank and trace it back to the grapes’ variety and terroir.
