Seneca Lake Wine Trail’s Inaugural Auction Weekend Gives Insider Access to Wine Country Experiences, Hard-to-Get Wines, and the People Behind the Wineries
Watkins Glen, NY (August 22, 2022)—This February, the Seneca Lake Wine Trail will debut its first annual Seneca Lake Wine & Experience Auction, a charity partnership comprising two evenings of special events at the elegant Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel. Happening February 10 and 11, the ticketed event will feature live and silent auctions, tastings of some of the region’s most coveted wines, delicious food, and live entertainment. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on VIP winery experiences, wine gift baskets, harvest packages, overnight stays at member wineries, and much more.
Located in the western New York state, the Seneca Lake AVA is known for its world-class rieslings and has been steadily producing some of the Finger Lakes region’s most acclaimed wines for nearly 20 years. Auction guests will gain insider access to the wines and winemakers of one of the nation’s most highly-regarded appellations.

Friday, February 10, 6p-8:30p – Silent Auction & Wine Tasting. Includes: a sparkling wine welcome, sophisticated hors d’oeuvres, wine tasting stations, live music, and the opportunity to bid on the silent auction items. $75 pp.
Saturday, February 11, 5:30p-8:30p – Live Auction & Taste of Seneca Lake. Includes: a sparkling wine welcome and wine tasting throughout the event; elaborate food stations including a raw bar, shrimp, and prime rib, among other delectable food; live music; and the opportunity to bid on both live and silent auction items. $125 pp.
