Cakebread Cellars Appoints New Vice President of Culture and Talent Development, Gina Charbonneau

Napa Valley, CA (August 15, 2022) – The Cakebread Cellars family is pleased to announce the appointment of Gina Charbonneau as Vice President of Culture and Talent Development. Gina arrives at Cakebread Cellars with an extensive background in human resources, as well as certifications in diversity and inclusion, training intervention procedures, and agile performance management. She is also active in many industry organizations including Women of the Vine and Spirits, Wine Women, and the Northern California Human Resources Association.

Gina is enthusiastic about the new role, “I’m thrilled to join the Cakebread Cellars team. Rooted in family and nearly 50 years in Napa Valley, Cakebread Cellars is committed to continuing the legacy of warm hospitality that it was founded on. I look forward to working alongside such passionate individuals and leading the winery’s efforts to encourage an equitable and positive work environment.”

Previously, Gina served as Executive VP, People Operations at Francis Ford Coppola Winery, where she began her career in the wine industry in 2008. She earned her Bachelors degree at California State University, Chico and her Master’s degree in Human Resources and Organization Development from University of San Francisco. In her free time, Gina is an avid hiker and is currently participating in the Six Pack of Peaks hiking challenge. She also enjoys running, camping, spending time with her family and dogs, and tending to her farm, where she raises chickens, goats, and horses.
