4/21/2022 – Saint Helena, CA – Tickets are now available for purchase to the Collective Napa Valley Barrel Auction Weekend taking place June 2-4, 2022. Hosted by Napa Valley Vintners (NVV), the summer event is the first in-person offering to take place for Collective Napa Valley. Proceeds will benefit the children of Napa Valley.
Wine lovers are invited to Napa Valley for a weekend of world-class hospitality that will include vintner-hosted wine events and experiences, vineyard walks, wines to taste straight from the barrel, delicious food from local restaurants and so much more, including a grand community celebration to recognize NVV’s non-profit partners.
“We are thrilled to bring the Collective Napa Valley community together for the first time this summer in Napa Valley. It will be meaningful to connect, share a glass of wine and break bread with one another. We are fortunate to have so many people who believe in giving back and who want to support the Napa Valley community,” said Jack Bittner, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Napa Valley Vintners and Managing Partner at OVID. Napa Valley.
The Napa Valley Barrel Auction main event takes place Friday, June 3, 2022, at Raymond Vineyards where guests can taste directly from 75 barrels and bid on the wines. View the schedule to learn more about the full weekend of activities.
Funds raised during the Napa Valley Barrel Auction Weekend will go toward caring for children’s mental health and wellbeing through the expansion of wellness center programming on Napa County school campuses. These centers are unique to the needs of each school and provide on-campus access to individual and group counseling, substance abuse prevention, bully prevention programs and more.
Children’s mental health was declared a national emergency in 2021. NVV’s goal is to help significantly expand mental health services to Napa County youth. Funding will also go toward mental health screening for 20,000 children from kindergarten to 12th grade to identify needs.
“We’re proud to invest in this important initiative to make mental health services more readily available to all Napa County youth. Together we can make a real difference in our community, and we’re thankful for all those who have joined in our efforts through Collective Napa Valley,” said Donna Walker, grants review committee chair for the Napa Valley Vintners and proprietor of Pulido~Walker winery.
Collective Napa Valley is the Napa Valley Vintners’ newest philanthropic endeavor that brings people together to enjoy Napa Valley wines while raising funds for the good of its community.
