Argentina’s Domaine Bousquet Creates Bold New Packaging for Multi-Certified Organic Sparkling Wines

Miami, FL, July 27, 2021 – Building on the dual popularity of organic wines and sparkling wines from non-traditional regions, Domaine Bousquet, Argentina’s premier name in organic wines, has spruced up its festive bubble packaging and listed their many certifications on back labels. All four wines, a Charmat white and rosé (SRP $13), and a traditional method brut white and brut rosé (SRP $18), are certified vegan (Veg Argentina), sustainable (Bodegas de Argentina), made with respect for human and environmental rights (Fair for Life) and organic (Ecocert). Bottles sporting the new packaging enter national distribution starting in August.

A leader in the organic wine category, Domaine Bousquet bubblies are the number one brand of Argentine organic sparkling wine in the U.S. Nielsen figures for 52 weeks ending 5/30/2021 confirm a 327% increase in sales of the Charmat white and 32% for the best-selling Charmat rosé. With respect to adding certifications to the back labels, Domaine Bousquet co-owner, Anne Bousquet, points out: “Certification ensures that every bottle is 100% organic and responsibly made. Once certified, there’s no wiggle room for reverting to pesticides in the event of rot or mildew during a problematic vintage.” Domaine Bousquet’s commitment to organic farming at has been in place from the get-go, starting with the first plantings in the early 2000s and release of the first vintage in 2005.

All four sparkling wines are multi-vintage Chardonnay-Pinot Noir blends from cool-climate fruit grown at around 4,000 feet in the top-ranked Gualtallary subzone of Mendoza. Chardonnay dominates 75/25 in whites. The reverse is true for the Pinot Noir-dominant food-friendly rosés.
