Willamette Valley Vineyards to Open Four Winery Restaurants Within Two Years

(Turner, OR – July 15, 2021) – Willamette Valley Vineyards (NASDAQ: WVVI & WVVIP) is opening the first of four winery restaurants this winter. The first will be in downtown Lake Oswego off State Street/Highway 43 and will feature wine and Northwest cuisine, wine lockers, a trellis patio with an outdoor fire pit, a private wine cellar dining room and ample parking.  

Following the Lake Oswego opening, three additional winery restaurants will open in popular Northwest communities, including Vancouver Waterfront in the summer of 2022. This wine tasting destination features seven Washington wineries and Willamette Valley Vineyards will be the first from Oregon. This winery restaurant will include barrel booth seating and spacious patio seating overlooking the Columbia River.

The third winery restaurant in Happy Valley is projected to open in late 2022 and will have a large patio and water feature. In 2023, Willamette Valley Vineyards will open a location in historic downtown Bend to bring the Willamette Valley wine country to this destination community that loves all thing craft.

Willamette Valley Vineyards Founder and CEO Jim Bernau said the winery restaurants were modeled after winery’s first prototype winery restaurant, Willamette Wineworks, which opened last year in Folsom, CA. 

“We are taking our Oregon wine story on the road by building winery restaurants in some of Oregon and Southwest Washington’s most exciting areas,” Bernau said. “People are choosing higher quality wines that pair well with food. These winery restaurants will bring our winery experiences to the people in their local communities.” 

To fund this expansion, Willamette Valley Vineyards has launched a preferred stock offering at $5.05 per share offering a 4.36 percent annual dividend or wine credit receiving 15 percent more value. Minimum investment is 300 shares at $1,515 and the maximum investment is 2,300 shares at $11,615. After September 30, the share price increases to $5.15. The stock purchase cap is $10.7 million.
