Thursday, June 24th, 2021, Anderson Valley, CA — Mendocino Winegrowers Inc. is thrilled to announce that the 42nd Mendocino County Fair Wine Competition will be hosted August 5th, 2021, at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds in Boonville. After a hiatus in 2020 due to Covid-19, the Mendocino County Fair Wine Competition, one of the oldest regional wine competitions in California, will resume celebrating the great wines of Mendocino County.

Wines made from grapes grown in the various AVAs of Mendocino County (DO U WANT TO LIST THEM?), are eligible for entry, as long as the vineyard or AVA source is clearly stated on the label. If you have any questions regarding entries, please visit Mendowine.com.

Coveted “Best of Show” awards will be awarded to the best Sparkling, White, Red, Rose’ and Dessert Wines respectively.

Competition entry information can be found at Mendowine.com.

Gold medal wines will be poured at the Mendocino County Fair in Boonville September 17-19, 2021.
